JVC TV with Component Video, S-Video, Video In, RF In, R&L Audio In & OutĢ. If you want to email me direct instead, you can use on Wednesday, Janu05:39 GMTHelp! I have a new Panasonic DMR-E85H DVD recorder and everything is working well except the analog stations are fuzzy. But I would think the A to D converter should handle that. The only thing I am wondering is that if I'm recording DVD with analog and trying to playback using optical audio, maybe that doesn't work. Svideo and (L,R,Y) of which the L,R is shared. Out = VCR1 (L,R,Y) and Svideo, VCR2 (L,R,Y) and Svideo, Monitor Svideo In = Everything (DBS, DVD, VCR1, VCR2) all have (L,R,Y) and Svideo (switched). Out = OUT2: Svideo, (L,R,Y), Optical Audio Out Out = Svideo, (L,R,Y), Coax cable, Optical Out I'm not using any component video so I left that out. Denon 2805 receiver is only a couple months old and so is Phillips DVR. Can't do pictures, so hope this is what you need. Posted on Tuesday, Decem19:42 GMTI thought I explained it pretty well, but here is a complete picture of what is available.
It has 1 set of inputs s-video, standard video, stereo audio all gold plated connectors. So basically were you have your video out, audio left and right out and s-video out you would connect to the input of the 4-way audio video amp which has it's own power supply. This is how you record off Digital, it works and the picture quality is so good on a DVD Recorder and very good on SONY VCR. For each box you have you would need one of these devices. If you go to your local Radio Shack store for $49 bucks at the time it was $39 you can get a 4-way audio and video splitter which also handles s-video conversions too. Now hows do you get Digital Channels well you could get a box for each Recorder that's expensive to rent all those extra boxes per month. So the Comcast connects directly with the TV. I don't use RF Out.Ĭomcast Box has it's own coax line which doesn't have anything to do with the DVD Recorder and VCRs which have a 2-3 way high ouput splitter for low loss. Anyway this helps the signal stay strong without using power amps.ĭVD Recorder and the VCRs all have there own coax connections for RF IN.
I have replaced most of the coax cable that Comcast uses for 2.3GHz Quad Digital Coax. PCTV CATV Stereo dbx Tunner is connected through a 3 way 2.5GHz high output gold plated splitter.
#No signal on tv time warner cable Pc
Have 3 VCRs Hi-Fi Stereo, 1 Home DVD Recorder and 1 PC CATV Tuner DVR Recorder. Doesn't sound like this is the problem from what you have described so far - give us more detail please and we can investigate more.Posted on Sunday, Decem06:47 GMTEasy said and done, I have Comcast Digital Box well two in fact. If you get no luck still then I would be tempted to suspect either a fault in the cable box itself, or the cable connecting it to the TV or the network. If you need any help with the steps in that then please ask again. Hopefully this solves the problem, if not then here is the link for the user manual, which has much more detailed troubleshooting If not then you need to pull up the on screen menu to select the input source (should work from the menu button on the TV remote even if you have no input from the cable box) - check the troubleshooting on this link for a more detailed description I suspect all that has happened is that your TV is not on the channel that recieves the cable output, first thing to try is turning both units off by unplugging them from the power supply and leaving them for a couple of minutes, then turn the TV on first, then the cable box - hopefully it will auto select the right channel. What exactly do you mean by "tried to fix it"? I think that would help us find a solution - nothing you do with a remote for either unit should stop you getting a signal.
#No signal on tv time warner cable code
My wife dropped the alternative remote control ( not the original one) on the floor, and apparently an strange code was sent to the TV., which suddenly displayed " No signal". I disconnected then physically the cabling from the VCR and plugged in directly on back on the The TV started to react according to expected. I turned off the VCR and click on the TV the remote control for a known channel ( alternative control used) and surprise. The option to scan the channels automatically.īecause the VCR was still connected it looks like it was forced to admit the channels. I pressed the button TV/DTV to switch between mode., and from the menu I started
I was able then to see the channels through another AV slot extension. I attached a video recorder., and selected the video channel. SOURCE: Suddenly the Tuner mode reports "No Signal"
